Message from NEHA Terakuya, Philippines:
Greetings in the name of God Almighty.
NPO MEGUMI Academy was privileged to have a scholarship program last
school year 2004-2005 through your help. There were 32 students who were
accepted as scholars in the Nursery level, 2 of which were disabled children.
By second semester at the month of October, ten students were promoted to
Kindergarten I level because they can cope with the lessons of this level so
much that they were five years old and they were really fitted for that level.
At the close of the school year 2004-2005, there were
twenty-eight scholars left who were able to finish and were promoted to
Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 level. They were able to write their own
names, recognize shapes, colors, numbers and letters of the alphabet. They
also knew how to say proper greetings and polite expressions.
For the opening of classes this school year 2005-2006, the 32
scholars last year, eight are enrolled in our school as Kinder 1 with one
disabled child named Jenny Endoma, eight are enrolled in Kinder 2 with one
disabled boy, who is Rey Fortaleza. Six student enrolled in Grade one.
This school year 2005-2006, we have 24 scholars.
Twenty-three were in Kinder 2 and we have one Kinder 1 scholar. Two
scholars were disabled.
God bless you all.
